Sources, calculations and publication boundaries.
Climate99 publishes national context only when a country has at least four usable indicators. It does not turn national statistics into city weather, forecasts or personal-risk claims.
Publication rule
Every value keeps its own observation year. A page is omitted if fewer than four measures are available. CO₂ per person is calculated only when emissions and population observations are no more than two years apart.
World Bank country indicators
Carbon dioxide emissions, renewable-energy share, total population, urban population share, freshwater stress, historic climate-disaster exposure and forest area.
OurAirports country reference
ISO country identity and continent are used to exclude World Bank aggregate groups and support transparent navigation.
Natural Earth map reference
Generalised country boundaries power the interactive map. They are used for visual navigation only.
Known limits
Country averages conceal regional differences. Indicators update at different times. Historic disaster exposure is explicitly an average for 1990–2009. Climate99 is not a live warning system and should not be used for emergency, health, insurance or personal-exposure decisions.
