Governed source coverage · checked 1 September 2026
What the new climate evidence can—and cannot—tell us.
Fourteen approved public-data sources expand ClimateFacts across weather stations, monthly conditions, wind, temperature extremes, renewable energy and climate context. We keep their boundaries visible: a French station cannot support a global place page, and opinion research is not weather evidence.
Publication rule
This page records source-level coverage and provenance. ClimateFacts will only publish a place or month answer after the underlying records pass separate checks for place identity, observation period, units, completeness and station fit. No thin page is generated merely because a dataset exists.
Average Monthly Weather Conditions (MTM09)
Central Statistics Office, Ireland · national monthly weather statistics.
Open weather-station directory
Association Infoclimat · station identities for the Infoclimat StatIC and Météo-France SYNOP networks.
Météo-France daily climate simulation
Daily climate-change simulation material. It is model context and is labelled separately from observations.
Toulouse weather stations
Montaudran, Pech David and Parc Maourine station feeds provide tightly bounded local observations.
Wind and temperature evidence
Irish maximum-gust tables plus regional Italian wind, weather and daily minimum-temperature datasets.
Climate and energy context
ADEME climate-attitude research, French real-time electricity emissions and Grand Poitiers renewable generation. These explain context; they do not determine destination weather.
